Description

The compact portable defibrillators of the Cardiolife TEC-8300 series are ideal for use in an emergency. The charging process is fast and the transition time is short. The devices are equipped with DSA (semi-automatic defibrillator) mode and have a high-resolution TFT color display. SpO2 and CO2 can be measured.

Biphasic defibrillation:

The defibrillators of the Cardiolife TEC-8300 series allow defibrillation using a two-phase energy-saving pulse curve. The defibrillation thus performed requires less energy than conventional monophasic defibrillation and therefore saves the heart muscle. Biphasic technology results in better results and avoids sudden cardiac arrest. NIHON KOHDEN's proprietary ActiBiphasic-Technology * technology, which uses a particular T-circuit, has better characteristics than most conventional biphasic circuit concepts. With the latter, the shock pulse is amplified as soon as the contact resistance increases. The effectiveness of defibrillation decreases. The NIHON KOHDEN circuit T actively manages the shape of the curve in the second phase of the impulse pulse, resulting in a constant pulse curve. *patented
